RE: AIM portfolio buying RON ?

Steve; congrats on the telecom sector... I'm sure you've seen the net stocks from CMGI,YHOO et al,and Amazon just keeps chugging along - unbelieveable imho...

Anyway; my question in reference to RON is why was the buy triggered by the ''AIM'' portfolio ? Is this just a simple averaging down mechanism at a pre-established trigger level ? - If so; do we need a computer to do that for us ? - if not please someone; explain the "AIM" system...thanks.

As I surely do not see the 'oft discussed concept of simple (pre-historic) averaging down being warmly received here ...? Tell me there was some high tech TA, Point & Figure, merging convergence or confluence of influence, or double ninja flying hammers with candle wicks or something like that...., that trigggered the RON buy.

PS; what a depressing day in the patch. SLB seemed to trigger the sell off - what did people expect - actually the year over year increases exceeded the revenue and income growth of most of the blue chips; go figure....a new 52 week low ! Europes info was positive per a post this early a.m.; has to be some buying tomorrow and a bounce to some degree...

Comments ? I saw nothing to trigger this type of a sell off, ie: CDG down $3 ! ...IMHO there wasn't anything out there to drive this type of a loss ?
