Or how about "the ss, being sworn law enforcement officers, decided to obey the law"?

Betty: Or how 'bout "Many in the SS are only too glad to tell what they know as long as it doesn't compromise national security."

>>Another example of media slant. Notice how the SS is being "dragged into" or
"hauled in" before the Grand Jury. How bout something like "SS will now have to
comply with a lawfully executed subpoena." bp

What's maddening is the way the Media let's Clinton get away with his lie that he has had noting to do with the SS asserting the bogus privilege. That's another one of his ever-present bold-faced lies. But just as with the executive privilege battle that he lost, the Media allows Clinton to assert a privilege without being identified as the one who has done so.

First, witnesses do not determine whether they testify. Second, witnesses do not assert privileges, only the defendant does. That means Clinton.

Therefore, Clinton is the only one who has put the SS through this whole ordeal when he could have just said to the SS, "testify and tell the truth" - but he won't, just like with McDougal. No, he has done just the opposite by asserting laughable arguments and appealing the courts' rulings at every chance, demeaning his office and wasting both time and taxpayer money.
