Can that 5% origination fee be correct? Talk about a price gouge....compare that to the average 1% fee in the US on a mortgage loan....What's the deal, are you sure that 5% isn't the downpayment required to purchase the home?

ouch!, Yes I did make a mistake on my math. I was attempting
to generate some conversation regarding the fundamentals of the
company. I was not trying to bash the company.

90% profit on the origination and service on the loans seems
a bit high to me. But what do I know I'm just a dummy.

At least you were kind enough to share some of your DD.
Care to elaborate on the rehab projects, insurance and thrift
acquisition?
