Here's a thought: eBay's coming IPO. Broadcast.com had a sensational IPO on Friday. Because of that and with the GeoCities IPO coming soon, CMGI had a huge day. Even if eBay competes with OnSale, a big IPO may well benefit OnSale. Barring earnings disappointment, I expect money to flow into ONSL over the next month in anticipation the eBay IPO. Further, if you check out Forbes' online rundown of Net stocks, you'll see that OnSales price to sales is comparatively quite low. Plus some time ago a (major? can't recall) brokerage set a taget for ONSL of $35. That was before the 80s target set last week by what must be a truly table-thumping analyst. And for the technically inclined, ONSL closed over its 25-day moving average today. Personally, I'm hoping ONSL won't be on sale at these prices too much longer.
