Heyyy Challo,

Glad you enjoyed it. I guess my intent was to demonstrate that the NYSEBP is, I believe, the king of broad market indicators. It truly is bullish at the bottom and bearish at the top, with interesting splashes of risk at different levels.

Did you look at the 87 and 90 action? Those who followed the signals where covered both ways. Go to the Library and see what the magazines were saying in Nov of 87 when the NYSEBP reversed up. Look at the ride those who were on board got. Check it against the sector bullish % Indexes of the same time. (I was a happy long term value investor at the time. Ugh!)

Regarding Birinyi, with the exception of just a few items, he makes some very good points. It's a very informative document and has given me much food for thought.

Take care,

Eric
