Post 1659 was interesting even though it is old. One item that caught my eye is that Wave wants to charge content providers 35% and split 1/2 of their take with the PC Maker so Sprague's goal was to make 17.5% of sales. Let's hope he gets it. With e-commerce projected to be a $22 billion a year business by 2002, if we get 10% of this total we get $385 million in annual revenues.

Few will set out "to use the meter." But many will point to the content they want and click what they need to click to get it.

Even before you get a Win(98)TV board you can experience the ease of the interface by trying out the virtual WaveMeter at the Great Stuff Network (Download Superstore and Home Improvement Delicatessen).

What?

It will never get used? Man wake up. If you have 15 to 20 CD's that you got for free and can't use'em because you don't want to have a Wave account, then your not human- period- and I'll spell it out. Now who's comparing apples and oranges.

SlateColt no..

You can't always depend on your mother!
One of the better barometers for judging the popularity of our WaveMeter will be Teenage males. (And men such as myself, who suffer from such things an Multiple Personality Disorder and arrested development)...

You'd be surprised how often these malefactors can come in handy.
