Weren't they also working on an operating system? Was it "pink"? I seem to remember something about that. Whatever happened? Was it the same thing as their plans to crush Intel?

Paul, IBM, Apple and Rotomola(tm Ibexx) started working on the PowerPC chip seven years ago in mid-1991.
I think they actually started shipping the PPC 5 years ago.


Exponential is another now defunct company that was suppose to obliterate Intel.

Or was Exponential the same as the PPC pact. I can't keep track of them. Some of these initiatives burst onto the scene with a big splash, but then they seem to just fade away.
