Sure and that's why cable stocks have been on a tear for some time = because they're worhtless! That's why MSFT has invested billions. While there will certainly be alot of investment, TCI has been opening its internet market through @Home on a regular basis - it's coming to Pittsburgh this Sept. I believe the most effective internet access in the future will be through cable and while local calling through cable is certainly a while off, the internet charge will be dramatic over the next several years. AOL will become a web site only in the future and may be worth 150. I do share Cramer's distain for Malone and the way TCI has sucked money from subscribers for years without adding much value.

Cramer is a techno-idiot, and WCOM is the Cendant of the telecom industry.

That said, I have a double position in WCOM. One good thing about companies that employ creative accounting is that they consistently meet and/or exceed their earnings expectations.
