Oh Dont tell me you are a tax attorney, too(just looked at your profile again....yep...that almost LLM in taxation will do it) you wouldnt believe how many we have on this thread !!! anyway...glad this subject was brought up I am not doing futures...but this is an important to bring to the forefront Scott omega is worth subscribing too I dont read most of it...have to skim and click faster than I do on TSO since I dont have omega but every once in awhile there are some good discussions...like the floor trader discussion etc... now if only you masters of taxation could tell us how to be considered a TRADER without being audited ( I dont want to have to pay any of those damn tax attorneys to cross swords with the IRS ;-)))))so we can deduct lots of expenses...
