"Hoak Breedlove Wesneski & Co. is an investment and merchant-banking
firm located in Dallas. We specialize in providing financial services to private and public middle-market growth companies in targeted industries."

But they won the 1997 award for the most unfortunately named investment banking company since Dewey, Cheatham and Howe.

For whatever reason, this board seems to be dead but I'm gonna keep adding to it anyway.

My mother subscribes to an investment newsletter (I'm not sure of the name) and with her last issue came a six-page insert on Pre-Paid Legal. No, not as a stock to purchase, but as a service to use. It has the usual rot like testimonials and inane comparisons such as "Less than the price of Cable!" Overall, though, I think it was a sign that the word is spreading! It is a little disconcerting that 'the word' shows up in such a cheezy format, but I realized going into this stock that PPD was after 'that class' or people.

Off topic: I wonder if people haven't been posting here because after reading the PPD posts on Yahoo they're laughing/crying so hard at the pitiful nature of the name calling and prevaricating that's been going that they actually fall out of their chair and hurt their hands so they can't type anymore. Yeh, right.

Happy investing,
Rob
