The point is that a bank is no longer defined as a trusted place to "put" my money, but a system. My point is that without relationships with banks, ala those it has with Chase and Netbank, CheckFree services don't have suffecient value to be sold. Cozying up to "portals" doesn't get it, unless you want to define the Netbanks of the world as portals. BTW, there already a number of companies/franchises offering safe deposit boxes services independent of banking services.
