* Spoke to Owen Hoffman of Aquasol today *

It was time to give Owen another call to see what's up and everything is cool at their end. He - and all the others on the inside - can't give too much information away - though he did say that "it's close enough now that I can't comment".

The DD between Napier and Aquasol was extended indefinitely. I presume that there is no point in going back to the TSE to ask repeatedly for extensions - but they also appreciate the necessity to complete the DD and move on - which is in everyone's interests. "We want to do what's in the best interests for the shareholders" and that their thorough DD is in the "long term benefits of shareholders". He also said that they are "taking care of business properly" and that it "takes time to make sure they put it together properly".

He was also concerned that when the News is released that they want something to substantiate it. To me this means that with the next run up in price (following News) that it needs to be driven by strong fundamentals - which is what Jason has told us the institutions are looking for now.

When Owen and I last spoke a few weeks ago - and with others that I have spoken to around the same time - they mentioned that insofar as the DD between Napier and Aquasol was concerned there were a couple of items that were left to finalize which were taking longer resolve than they anticipated. Owen told me this afternoon that now they are down to just ONE!!

Remember - both Napier and Aquasol have come a very very long way in a few short months and we tend to be too impatient at times. In any case - and as I've said many times - the News will come when it comes - and I'll just keep adding to my position when I can. Over the last two months I've increased my NIR holding by approximately 50% so I'm happy.

Owen also said that there is a lot of ground to cover and they (Napier and Aquasol) are moving from start up companies to something very large - and that it requires a lot of planning.

Furthermore, there is also a scheduling criteria that they need to follow - which he said means that Aquasol's News release will be lined up with others. This I presume refers to the releases that Jason has talked about. I suspect that when that glorious day comes and News is released there will be more than one big News release!

Don't think that nothing too much is happening. Owen said that there is a "ton of things happening in the background" and that there are a "lot of people busy on a lot of different fronts" and "it's all very positive".

In addition Aquasol's sales continue to go well - as we would all expect.

For newcomers here's Owen's post that he made to SI on 7 June with details concerning Aquasol - seems like a lot longer ago than just six weeks!

Message 4763540

It's pay day again Thursday - so time to do some more shopping for NIR shares.

Sleeping like a baby,

David in Ontario :-)

Gee. This thread has become boring. I still remember good ol' "David in Ontario" taking about a halt trading at 9:29 on black (oh, I mean bubble gum pink monday, with a major announcement. Gee, that was over 6 weeks ago. Since then, it has been the same boring re-posting of old stuff.

Why don't we all hibernate for a while and come back when there is news to discuss.

Utterly bored.
