Marc, I'm taking it to mean there is another large deal waiting to be signed with someone like Southwest Bell or Pacific Bell. If it is an error in their press release I'd be a bit pissed off.

Marc: As I see it, the bold part in your posting is only a letter of intent - it's not finalized yet, that should take place shortly, after something takes place (such as the issue of the US patent). I also read the releases to mean there is another deal with an American RBOC to shortly take place. That makes a total of three deals recently discussed here; 1)The Bellcore deal-finalized, 2)One of the largest American RBOC's, not finalized, only a letter of intent BUT shortly to be finalized, and 3) Another American RBOC is being talked to and should sign soon. That's how I read things. The agreements are coming along quickly. They are also talking to another Canadian telco. This is in addition to Telus which is already signed up.
