This much volume at these price levels makes me nervous, too, although osci's theory may explain those big block trades and the rest could just be nervous traders taking a small profit to avoid the risk of disappointing earnings. N'est-ce pas? Someone on one of the threads I've been reading (yours, perhaps) doesn't ever want to own a stock on the day its earnings come, and given my experience with earnings disappointments that may not be a bad rule for a short-term trader to follow.
