Clinton Administration Charges Military Personnel for Bosnia Operations

The gist of it:

Military personnel are required to pay for their own uniforms. In the past, the price of uniforms has been "at cost." This year, the Clinton Pentagon imposed a surcharge (profit?) of 22.8% on uniform articles to pay for the Bosnian operation.

In effect, he is charging military personnel for their tour of Bosnia.

But I'm sure this, too, is "for the children."
