Raptor,

I agree 100%, and am extremely disappointed with the report. Although a 60% gain is nothing to be scoffed at, they really needed to hit 0.16, to return to what they had been doing the past few years.

SAP did extremely well in North America. In fact, were it not for N. America, SAP would have had very poor results, instead of just mediocre. Based on this, and the data which was suggesting that PSFT was taking market share from SAP on this continent, I had bet heavily that PSFT would blow the quarter out, or at the very meast ensure they made 0.16. This did not happen.

The sad thing is that when the PE of PSFT goes below 100, the PE's of CSCO and LU have risen above 100, based on trailing earnings. I believe that the momentum players left, and will have no reason to return here.

However, based on Lazlo's recommendation earlier, and some others over the past few weeks, I would not be surprised to see a slow run after the short term effects of the PSFT slowdown have been digested. For the longer term, I would bet that PSFT will begin to gain 30-50% per year for investors after another 6 month period of flatness. But I believe that my hopes of 60-65 by Christmas are dashed, and I will look to unload my shares at 50, if I can get it within the next 6 weeks, or I will just take my loss and move on. There is too much out there to wait.

Regards,

G
