<<APCO has experienced emotional exuberance once before and I personally think it hurt the stock. A slow steady climb for this one is much preferred in my case.>>

Cary, I almost always agree with you guys. But I'm sorry to say that I don't believe good earnings or "institutional interest" is going to move this stock too much.

IMO, APCO suffers from the small-cap virus. No one is paying any attention to good, solid, profitable (but boring) small-cap companies like APCO (and many of the other Amigo picks.) This includes "small-cap" mutuals who are, as we speak, trying to change the definition of "small-cap" so they can continue to play with the mid- to large-cap companies and thus continue to ignore the APCOs.

This has been going on for a long while, and I think it will continue to go on until there is a major correction to the DOW - the large-caps - that slaps these guys (and gals :-) on the Street in the face.

Sorry - that's the first time I've gotten on a soapbox here. But, like all of you, I continue to be frustrated holding good companies that are completely ignored in this surreal market we are in.

Whew, I feel better now :-) And having said all that, I will probably continue to hold and try to wait patiently for the scenario above.

All just my opinion of course. Please forgive me for cluttering up the thread with my angst - you may all now resume normal activity.:-)

Prof

P.S. Max, dumped my NEWZ @ 10 yesterday. Couldn't stand it anymore :-)
