OK, I'll be the math guy:

First Round: Five questions in catagories worth $100 through $500, all in $100 increments

$100 x 5 = $500
$200 x 5 = $1000
$300 x 5 = $1500
$400 x 5 = $2000
$500 x 5 = $2500

The above total is $7500. The second round is the first round doubled, so that makes it $15000. Added to the first round makes it $22500. If Mr. Genius bets it all and wins, he get $45000 and a kiss from Alex.

Granted, this doesn't take into account the Special Jeopardy questions in which you can bet the farm in the middle of the round. Mind you, I haven't watched the show in years.

Regards,
Pat
