You guys have got to be kidding me. Firstly, to think that Greenspan can influence the market for more than a day to two is absurd. Secondly, we've seen the market captilaztion of the Dow Industrials more than double in just over three years! And you find a reason to criticize Mr. Greenspan? I think he's shown that he has a pretty good idea what to do with interest rates. What he is trying to do, and can only make a small impact on, is prevent a bubble in the market, which is a noble goal and would hurt everyone's savings much more than seeing the market drop a few percentages here and there.
