>>> This discussion seems to suggest that both CF and MSFDC are managed by a bunch of brain-dead individuals, and of course they aren't.

IMO, the discussion suggests that the managements are in awkward positions between the conventional banks and the explosive growth on the Web and are walking a tightrope. Additionally, the banks apparently can shake the rope with impunity.

I take exception to that comment. I don't think any of us implied that anyone at CF is brain dead. I'm also sure that CF has considered everything we are talking about and more. But, with Mellon doing a pilot for MSFDC, what do you want me to do? say oh that's 'ok', everything will be fine, it's only a pilot?

...While some may argue that it's only limited pilot, I may argue that it's resources that could be used for a viable product, and will further delay the roll out of viable products. I'll be the first to admit I'm working with very limited information, therefore, anyone can feel free to enlighten me, including any IR departments. I have the greatest respect for CF management and have expressed that multiple times in public, and realize that they can't control the banks. I also feel free to express my opinions.

Wells Fargo Speeds Bills to Customers in New Electronic Bill Presentment Pilot

I don't have a problem with what Wells is doing, because they are not a member of integrion. IMO if you aren't going to use the Integrion System, get off the ship.
