Well, I sold most of my position yesterday but will retain about 10,000 shares in my IRA account. That should have been the place for them to begin with.
I wish that every critical post was not met with such hostility. Ignoring the bashers is one thing (and something I do) but to meet every other critical post with namecalling and this defensive posturing is IMHO immature and tiresome. Yes I was complaining! If you need to label me a whiner go right ahead. The fact remains that alot of people were mislead into thinking things would happen sooner than they have. If Jack U. determined it was in the best interests of MTEI to switch from Stagg to Dunn then I will not question that. Perhaps it is. The problem is we are back to square one again and this whole process will have to be restarted. So how long now before the Dunn reports come in? They are just signing the contracts today I guess so clearly work has not begun. Several more months now?
Yes, companies make mistakes, yes there are invariably delays in this work, yes MTEI is a new company, but again can anyone explain to me why Jack put out all those releases at first, building interest and enthusiasm all the while knowing that it would take months for any of this stuff to actually be verified. What was the purpose of that? Why not wait to get everything verified and then release book value numbers, oil reserve numbers etc. That would seem to me to be the proper and responsible course of action. But it didnt happen that way and that is the main reason that I am frustrated, angry etc. I am sure many others out there have similar feelings and are sitting on losses of all sizes but people have different ways of expressing themselves. Some accept situations, others question, some vent , others suck it up. I dont think one is any better than the other. I like to vent and that is what I am doing. I dont think my points are useless or inflamatory. And while I accept full responsibilty for my choice of investments I also feel that I have every right to be skeptical of the company I am investing in. Thanks for listening.

> As for not calling Dunn--MTEI is getting charged (a lot) for each investor phone call

Is this common practice? IMO it sounds odd that the company would be charged for any phone call to Dunn having to do with MTEI.
