Cat Lady...

You should be aware that the "hamburger style"(soy) variety of meatless burgers now constitutes 30% and is shrinking versus the "veggie pattie," which now has 70% of the meatless burger market and is growing. It sounds like you're sampling the "hamburger style" product. In my opinion, Gardenburger has the best-tasting veggie pattie (I know the term sounds like something from grade school cafeteria) and best variety of veggie patties. Gardenburger has about half of the veggie pattie market. Chance of a buy-out seems extremely low to me. I am long Gardenburger.

GBUR files 10 Q: NO CASH, $9.0 Million drawn down on $10.4 Million total line. MorningStar Farms (Worthington) launches massive competitive category couponing with a very aggressive switch price ($1.00 to 0.50 per coupon). POS (Catalina Marketing) is issuing coupons under contract from Worthington Foods to everyone who buys a GardenBurger.

Acquisistion multiples given in street reports are total BS. NFW, will one of these food companies buy this thing for 2X.
