larry,

I would think that a lot of Money Managers take vacation
in August. I'm wondering if a lot are locking up profits
now ( they probably should even not considering vacation,
since many of them have made their year ), and this
might suggest overall market slowdown in August.

Of course, there are those funds that haven't done as
well, and now see a possible 2nd chance with
Dell.

any thoughts?

joe

My take on AMZN:

SC: on the post this one is a reply to you make excellent observations, particularly the one about bears fueling another rally. I would hope most would be smart enough (myslef included) this time around to avoid shorting good companies and limit themselves to the really bad ones. shorting good comapnies if at all should be done for very short time periods as this market may slide for a few days but then turn around.
