I followed the Yahoo! PRNewswire thread to get the merger news, and soon saw what a spamming scam this "STOCKUP" had perpetrated. I burned on over to their site to drop an e-bomb on them. Lo and behold, no email address. This am they spammed me with an "analysis" of some of their "picks." (How do these people get my email?) The following is my reply to them: Looking at Yahoo! news for MVEE, I came across a notice of merger. Since the company had not announced anything, I followed the link and arrived at your site. No mention of any merger was made regarding MVEE, and I realized that the "news" I had eagerly sought was a spamming scam which used the symbols for many companies as a way to get into my face. Since I take this tactic as an indication of the quality and reliability of your information, I will take it upon myself to warn other investors of this unethical practice on your part, and make every effort to see that your enterprise is shown for what it is: spam out of the can. If this occurred without the knowledge of management, as the result of marketing advice, it was bad advice, and someone in a responsible position should have foreseen the serious compromise to your credibility and future potential. For me, you have damaged yourselves beyond repair.
