All/Taichi - No partying yet! (Who am I kidding). There is still work to be done! We have to get to 74 on QCOM to maintain 1.2X parity with ERICY as of Sept. 1997 and maintain bragging rights vis a vis ERICY thread. Tom

Sorry if I disappoint, Maurice, but I got back into Q on Monday. (After a private talk with JMD, among others. Tried to get Gregg to tell me what to do also, but he didn't bite. <g>)

I figured the Q's just making or even slightly missing the downgraded earnings estimates was already in the stock. And that if they surprised upside by a lot, or even sounded a lot better on production issues, Q could jump to the upside. Also I'd noticed that the Korean Won exchange rate had gone up quite a bit, and that cellular sales in Korea actually looked quite strong.

Of course I had no idea it would jump the way it did!!! Blowout. I Excellent. I figured maybe it could jump 3 points or so right off.

Haven't felt it was my place to be the first to gloat; others deserved it a lot more. <g>

And of course I now wish I had bought more. Oh well.

But I got in for just a little less than I sold out at 4 months ago. (Been making good use of the dough in the market in the meantime. Little things like Tlab (actually Ciena, before the spread narrowed to nothing.<gg>)
