Off topic. How are you holding up in that heat? It's starting to creep up here; we've been around 100 the last couple of days. I've always considered Beethoven a straddler between Classical and Romantic. I really like his early Symphonies the best. Actually, being a trombone player, my favorites are Bruckner, Mahler, Wagner, etc. They wrote "kick ass" trombone parts. Like Dan, I love jazz. In fact, I was in the All State Jazz Band when I was in high school. My favorites are mostly the bands from the Swing era. Still waiting for our August issue of Parents.
