In a flareup of a longtime bitter rivalry, Microsoft Corp. has accused network software maker Novell Inc. of "deliberately trying to stymie" its efforts to prepare for a landmark antitrust trial. Microsoft said Wednesday it had filed a motion in federal court seeking to compel Novell to provide documents and testimony regarding Internet software and the market for computer operating systems. msnbc.com

Jack, <<Reed Hundt was named to the board of Ascend Communications a few weeks ago.>> Thanks for that information. I was just thinking about posting on the ASND board to see what the opinions of the posters there were of Hundt as a Board member. Didn't realize he just joined ASND so recently. I can only imagine that his presence on both boards could provide some potential cross fertilization to enhance Novell's market growth. Regards, QuadK
