Thanks Jim, based on what I am looking at, we should get a bounce today.

The McClellan Oscillator gave a sell sign on the NASD 2 days ago but the NYSE Adv-Dec needs another down day before crossing and giving a sell sign. These tend to lag (not short term) but when they do cross, the intermediate trend has changed.

I pasted your list to a spreadsheet and tried to calc your 0.49% but was unsuccessful. You probably have explained the calculation before but I guess I missed it.

while the OEX wasn't up today, the Magic 10 I look at had gains for the day

In my previous post of the Adv-Dec %, notice that the OEX was the ONLY one that was positive. Wonder what this is trying to tell us? Wonder if they are a leading indicator? The Adv-Dec Issues on the OEX were still positive while the others went negative just prior to this down move we just experienced.
