Here is the SUMMARY of posts from this night (7/22/98), I hope no one is offended by not mentioning who posted what, but this would have just been enormous! This is just a quick summary: There was an attempt earlier to by a temporary poster to direct everyone to a web site which was hacked to contain a false PR from the BELIZE government. After much research, computer professional examination, and contacting several other sites, along with Common sense it was determined the site had been hacked. THE PR WAS FALSE! kevinl will confirm this first thing in the morning! Reason says there is now way it was true. Appears that several MMs are extremely short and know something is on the way, they are attempting to create panic. Thats it in summary! Location of hacked post: belize.gov.bz This is a hacker's job if ever I've seen one. There's no link to the home page and no bi-line data on the "press release." No wonder these scam artists are so successful, everyone is soooo quick to believe their BS. There is no way the belize government is going to put Due Diligence on the bottom of the release, obvious imposter.... InterNIC only is for USA companies. Too many Investor terms aimed at us. A legit poster would not use a name like "Too Bad PRWT" This person has a lot of hate and is rubbing it into us for being alive with PRWT. He/she is not a happy camper. No Belize government official will say: "...due prudence and diligence..." unless that person is an investor like us! Definitely a phoney post. TO ALL....................................!!!! The poster who orginated this PR and link to the Belize C of C is "Too Bad PRWT." They initiated their trial membership today just after market close and have made only ONE POST. This in itself should answer most of your questions of doubt in terms of PRWT's business practices. IMHO, this person is directly related to this HOAX and will soon be held accountable! The post can be found by clicking on 7300 and scrolling down around 5:00pm. He/she "To Bad PRWT" has to be involved. Or how by coincidence did he happen to stumble across the PR from Belize? hmmmmmmmmmmm And why would they pick a trial name like "To Bad PRWT"? And according to somebodies post tonight it was placed there on 7/22. I wonder what the Belize response will be, will they pursue action on the perpetrators? The official Web site of the Government of Belize is www.belize.gov. Check it out. There is no Ministry of Home Affairs and Housing. The official web site is www.belize.org. Someone went to a lot of trouble to put up a phony site - "the official government of Belize website". What government would post that crap. Think about it, a Government issuing a press release telling people to do due diligence at the end of it. Ok now I am pissed. The site was hacked at 20:12 GMT This is the document info on the web page. And the Site isn't even protected. I'd go in myself with an isoman was here message to prove it, if it wasn't illegal, and since I don't have a trial membership I can hide behind no thanks. I have 2 close friends that are WEB deisgners and programmers of KNOWN internet companies and I asked them to check it out. THE SITE WAS HACKED! This is not a hype. THIS IS THE TRUTH. I am so pissed right now. Someone is determined to tank PRWT and buy low then sell high when the BIGTIME NEWS ON THE HORIZON comes out. ??? "Members of the public are therefore advised to exercise due prudence and diligence before making any investment with this company" - Why would the Ministry of housing use investor lingo? Why would the govt. of Belize advise me to do my own DD? I think someone wants our shares real bad. I suspected right away when I saw no Date before the story it was probably fake and LeaglBeast pointed out many more flaws ! The fact that this was printed so many days after the fact seems strange as well ! And no news wire has released anything as well ! I was following another stock that a poster fabricated a Business wire news story on aol on a message board...he did a fair job of it but left out all the symbols that follow real messages at the end ! This story as Leagal Beast points out has no (ENDS) after it as well ! NO DATE NO (ENDS) no security at the site ! I have a friend who is pretty much what they coined the term "Computer Geek" from. Anyway, I called him a little while ago and asked him how difficult it would be to get in ... he called me back in about 10 min and said "I'm in, what would you like to say?" I think that everyone is trying to understand whats going on behind the scenes. You have the usual possible motivations:1. MM who are in a short sqeeze. There is alot of suspicion that that is the case. 2. MM and/or others who accumulated a large short position late in the day today. 3. Those who might want to buy for less.
