OFF TOPIC,Mike

99% of chlorine enters the atmosphere from volcanoes,PERIOD. Mankind's contributions make no difference,PERIOD. The polluters in this case are people who use refrigerators and air conditioners, like you and I.
Most of the 99% from mother nature comes from a volcano near the cape Horn at the southern tip of Chile that is a slow continuous contributor. This is as old as the earth. To make me pay more for "refueling" my fridge or air conditioner isn't helping this problem. It isn't a problem and has always existed. Go back to fearing a nuclear war. That could actually happen! I suppose folks like you don't take advantage of air conditioning and refridgeration, but I do.
\The "hole in the ozone" continuously contracts and expands and has done so since the beginning. There are other man made problems that do affect the atmosphere, but CFC's from our input are not one of them. You can't do anything about volcanoes, they don't have to file an EIS.
