Called my ML broker. He says that management answers analysts questions late in the day (around 7 EST). Maybe it is not called a conference call. Apparently investors such as Fidelity are not able to participate. He tried once to get in once but could not. So, perhaps, it is not called a conference call. But management answers questions from analysts after earnings release. All info. courtesy of my ML broker.

CAGR Operations Review for Q2 98

PSFT provides 2 two year CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth) number for Contracting Activity which analysts pay close attention to because it is an indicator for future growth. Unfortunately, this number looks horrible for this quarter compared to the last.

2 yr CAGR Q1 Q2
73% 62%

Since this number is based on just two numbers, it can fluctuate a lot. To improve the same numbers then calculate 3 yr CAGR

3 yr CAGR Q1 Q2
71% 77%

Amazing improvement in contracting activity.

I think PSFT should have a competent numbers guy put out their operations review report since the analysts are not going to be doing the calculations. A two year CAGR number can be very misleading (as can a 3 year CAGR)

Good Luck
