CNN Interactive confirms McCurry quits as of fall. Joe Lockhart has already been named to succeed him, so this is not a surprise but a planned change.

Yup, just heard that big rat has jumped ship.

It is reported that Lockhart would be new "Minister of Propaganda", as an accomplished dissembler and a master of doublespeak and Newspeak, just like the precedent rat.

I wonder which network or news organization will hire McCurry.
