Hi Jim,.>Re:<<FTR, most bear markets start out as corrections.>>

What does FTR mean? Also, are you expecting a bear market to set in? If so, what fundamental change in the economy might presage such an event? Maybe poor earnings? Furthermore, if the supply of stock is decreasing via buybacks, mergers, etc., and more and more people are investing, how will this supply/demand situation result in lower prices overall?

Just curious,

Lee

Jim, this is indicative of your usual statements that lack any clear substantiation that supports when these things might happen in your opinion. All of these statements are true, but you assert them in response to a questioning of your argument about DELL, today. These statements lack any specific timeframe, and are therefore irrelevant to our discussions here. Can you try to be more specific, or are open-end (irrelevant) predictions the best you intend to do?

Yes this is a correction, Yes the market will rise again.
FTR, most bear markets start out as corrections.

This means I am a gambler and I watch the market very closely..if the market recedes more than 10% I start thinking about moving into more cauious investments. In every BULL there are corrections, I don't panic at these ala last Oct. That correction just happened all in one day. I watched very closely at that one...but indicators told me the market would rise again, which by the way it has done handsomely. You just have to watch very very closely and keep in mind if you have gained a tremendous amount and all the sudden we go into a bear market you will NOT lose all your gain in a few bad days. You do have time to get out with one call or on your computer which ever way you trade.
