Pat: More word "smith" ing: <<The companies have successfully completed two-way interoperability testing between Alcatel's ADSL central office solution and TI's customer modem silicon solution. In addition, testing has also been completed between TI's central office modem and Alcatel's customer modem.>> The release goes on to say: Regretfully, the TI CO modem and the TI customer model were tested together and found to be wholly incompatible. TI management estimates another 10 months of concerted effort on this front to bring the dang thing to production!!!!!<G> Charlie <<But YOU were the one supposed to be sure they worked together, not ME!>>
