Easy, if Clinton wanted to reverse his good work on the economy, he could raise taxes, spend deliriously, and submit budgets that are hundreds of billions out of balance. Even you, a hater, should agree this would reverse the economy.

Where have you been? He's ALREADY raised taxes, and retroactively, to boot! Proves my point: he's irrelevant to the good economy we have. Come to think of it, when has Clinton ever lowered taxes? When has he ever refused to sign a bill where more spending was involved?

Do the math. $100 million divided by $400 for each air conditioner results in 250,000 air conditioners. These units are being sent to needy elderly citizens so they won't DIE!

OK; what happens to the remaining elderly citizens (#250,001 and subsequent) who are dying from the heat? Seems to me the needs of all the people will be better served by letting them keep more of the money they earn to buy their own air conditioners instead of confiscating it and funneling it through the bureaucrats. The spending is one more grandstanding technique designed to win more votes. It is fiscally irresponsible.

How lame is that excuse? Are you saying that when Reno speaks, everyone has to obey.

She is his boss.

If she called you up and told you to have sex with her, you'd do it?

Now why would you ask me a thing like that? She's not my boss. And if you're lurking, Janet, I'm sorry. I'm already in a long-term relationship.

No action has been taken yet because Star is incompetent. He's in way over his head. Even if Clinton did something wrong, Star's the last guy out there that could prove it.

For a guy who's incompetent, Ken Starr sure has sent a lot of crooks to prison. See etherzone.com for the details.

So it's dead. Admit it.

OK, it's dead. <pause>

Doesn't change much, does it?

Even an idiot knows its not "millions of air conditioners." And it bolsters my point that Clinton really does care about people.

Unfortunately, GP, as with welfare, where only about .$25 of every dollar eventually made it to the needy, and the 100,000 cops, where the nat'l gov't was only picking up the bill to get it started and then the individual cities would have to pay, by the time the $100 mil gets down to those that need it the most only about $25 mil will remain. It's like any other gov't operation anywhere in the world. Whenever the gov't starts doling out money it's mostly to buy votes/influence through either their rich cronies or the gullible public. The Republicans are guilty of this too.

Except for the necessities of gov't; protection, etc.; I believe the less gov't the better.
