Only know what I have been told. Perhaps you should call the company for clarification. I was told "yesterday" that a buyback was in the works, just not the when, how much, or anything else. To be honest, I was so excited when I heard that I didn't question much else except to ask when they would announce it. All I was told was that it would be in the near future, and that could mean anything from next week to next month. Perhaps you are right, and they plan to step in early and announce later; but I got the impression from Scott that one of the purposes of buying back shares would be to reduce the float.

By the way, it is possible that the company did not want me to put this news out on the threads; however, I did want to share the information as I was encouraged by the news.
