Dear Jane:

They are still trying to get it back ; but we already know the outcome of that battle.

I ran across this out of a bible for dogs:

Maybe there are a few lessons in here for all of us Christians. Hope you enjoy.

1. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
>
> 2. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be
> pure ecstasy.
>
> 3. When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
>
> 4. When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
>
> 5. Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
>
> 6. Take naps and stretch before rising.
>
> 7. Run, romp and play daily.
>
> 8. Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
>
> 9. Be loyal.

> 10. Never pretend to be something you're not.

> 11. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

> 13. Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

> 14. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

> 15. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

Hello Jane and all,

How is everyone doing? I'm doing pretty well myself. I've been trying to stay off the internet so much lately, as I feel I should strive to balance out my life by doing many different things like reading, exercising, etc...

I've still been reading this thread though and have been praying for many including the quints. I pray that God heals them and forms them into children of Christ in the next few years/decades.

My post is addressed to you, Jane, because I have a question about Nutrition and diet stuff. I've read a couple of your posts about this and wondered if you could help me, resident expert.

I recently have been reading books about Christians who lived right after Christ died, like Justin Martyr. These people had tremendous faith in God and drew their supreme joy in life from Him and His Creation. I've realized that there are many areas of my life that I really haven't given my all to God in. One of these is food. I just don't watch what I eat and my body is paying the price.

I'm not fat by any means, but if I wasn't 22 I would probably be very huge and unhealthy. The only thing that is keeping me from being realtively skinny is my metabolism.

Anyways, if you can fight through all of my rambling, I just want to pick your brain for some eating, vitamin, and exercise tips to keep my body a temple of God.

Thanks all and God bless,

Grant
