Hello Sam,

The desciples didn't spread it. The damn Romans did. It followed their empire all thru Europe. Check history and prove me wrong. Again get your head out of the sand before you speak these lies as facts just because they are "IN THE BIBLE."

My goodness! I must have touched a nerve!

I coincidentally am reading a book on church history right now, so I can answer your question promptly. You're right that the Romans spread Christianity all over the place. But, the romans didn't accept Christianity until Constantinople made it a national religion. They then brought it all over Europe. This didn't happen until at least the 4th century.

Until that time, the Romans and others persecuted Christians by killing them through various means: Crucification, burning them alive, feeding them to dogs and lions... Stuff that really tests the faith.

I'm willing to hear your side of history if you have one to rebut this. I'm actually trying to speak outside of the Bible so that we can use accepted history (as that is probably close to the truth).
