Steve- cash and futures both i.e. SPX options and SPU-- high frequency and volume- on a high volatility day I would trade
six or eight times to make nice little profits but all adds up at the end of the day- I keep number of contracts according to size of my leverage.Cannot ignore futures or cash that is how I get the coverage to run a highly leveraged long positions, I need to skim some profits out in a highly volatile day-
Like I had today-- 1230 calls short on SPX sept contract
1220 calls short on SPX sept contract
1140 sept contract long puts SPX
1090 sept contract short puts SPX
Alongwith this I did some skimming all day long in futures- For the weekend we have closed all our positions with a good return taking advantage of the game plan. If you take a stroll down the memory lane of our little nice neighbourhood you will find similar kind of trades on futures on a typical day as highlighted in the following URL- Steve in my opinion it would be unfair if one's own money is not in the play and he may post recommendations on sensitive futures, cash or equities.
