Haven't I read all this before?

You shouldn't confuse a pullback with the "bottom line". I "lose" nothing by not selling into this most recent panic.

You're right about one thing, though; CA is BUBBLE-ICIOUS!!!

PS: Since you're a self-proclaimed math and history buff, you'll appreciate the fact I've been accumulating CA since 1991.

<<It is too bad that you and other folks concentrated on off topic conversation instead of look at the obvious facts. The main difference between you and me is that I know about CA's internal troubles and you don't.>>

i'm still trying to figure out how your insider knowledge/perspective "on CA's internal troubles" led you to predict the time at which large customers would start becoming more cautious about mainframe spending.

obviously, your "prediction" that CA would go down was based entirely on evidence that has had nothing to do with the actual reason the stock is down. please don't pat yourself on the back for making a decision based on circumstances that are completely irrelevant to the current situation. if you would like others to value your opinions, you should not be alluding to your dumb luck in this instance.
