Do you remember my claim "CA is a giant with clay feet"?
As you can see from the history all phantom giants felt down pretty quick and unexpectedly. It will never happen with MSFT or any other true development company.

Dear Rancher,
<< if you would like others to value your opinions, you should not be alluding to your dumb luck in this instance.>>
You can call it dump luck, but I was waiting for this drop for almost two months and I've explained my reasons. I could care less, if other will value my opinion, but I knew CA for long time and I got caution attention to CA's TA, market status, CSC bid, mainframe revenue and customers opinion regards Unicenter and consulting services. Plus some internal CA knowledge and relations. I knew that mainframe revenue soon or later are going to hit CA, because they could not keep the same growing pace with EMS. It is too expensive and CA doesn't have right culture for it.

Dear BostonView
<<You shouldn't confuse a pullback with the "bottom line". I "lose" nothing by not selling into this most recent panic.>>
Isn't 50% drop equal future 100% gain, if the stock reach same level? With 50% drop you could pay all your taxes and still have 30% profit. Now you could hope to make 100% from your current investment in CA in next two years, which is not bad, except you already got it one week ago.

If the street though that $62 was right for the company with combine 50% -mainframe and 50%-enterprise management revenues, then $26-$30 will be right entry point for CA without mainframe revenue (even it will continue over time), since the expenses related to EMS are much higher than for selling mainframe stuff.

Also do you still think that CA's last quarter report reflects the real employee feelings about the company? Is it the best place to work with 75% more fun? When dictators are flying to high they really start to believe that slaves are happy and will realize the real situation when it is to late.

PS: some history from twins (as you call us. I don't know why.)
