Thanks Tom for posting that article. It was excellent reading. It takes some extraordinary circumstances to get a group of stocks really moving. It may indeed be a while before we see the small caps as a group really outperform. I believe that the article may overlook a few things such as the popularity of mutual funds which mirror the S&P 500. One thing is certain and that is that people tend to move in large groups in the same direction. So whether it's the large caps or the internet stocks or whatever we tend to get a mass movement when a group goes up.

Over the years I have watched lots of sector rotation. Biotechs, semiconductors, Y2K stocks and most recently the internet stocks just to name a few. It's very possible to catch even a bad stock in these groups when they are hot and make good money. I think it's possible to make money lots of ways but this really is a good one. It's just not to smart to overstay your welcome. Personally I think the internet stocks are way overdone and ready for some real profit taking.
