Value Investing and Growth Stock Investing? A CONDRADICTION IN TERMS??? Finding stocks that are both undervalued and showing rapid growth is not an easy thing to do these days. Value investing is one thing and growth stock investing is another. That's why it's important to find these stocks early! One thing I know for certain is that rapidly growing earnings does attract investors. So this thread is dedicated to finding and sharing our views on those still undiscovered stocks which exhibit at least the following characteristics: 1.) Actual earnings in the most recent quarter? 2.) Evidence that upcoming earnings will show rapid growth. 3.) Reason to believe that we are buying a stock at what would be predicted to be a very low P/E. 4.) Insider buying? Always a big plus and an indication that good things are coming. 5.) Lots of room for the value side of the equation to catch up to the expected growth. Please feel free to share your due diligence here but please be thorough so we don't have to spend hours on our own researching the stock you think might be a big winner! Lets see if this investment strategy doesn't end up being a huge winner. The Stock Doctor prescribes a healthy dose of value in all our investments if we want to see our nest eggs grow. | ||||||||||||
