<< This stock
may well see 9-10 in the next week or so given the momentum but with say 2$
downside and 12$ upside on a momentum reversal, why anyone in their right mind
would continue to sell down here sure escapes me. >>

I think that there is a fear of dead money for the next 6 months,
agree with you that downside is minimal, and upside is substantial
(from this level - except that most of us bought it at a much
higher level), so the maximum downside is $12, and the minimal
upside is at least $15 in my opinion (maximum downside is if this
dude goes to zero - very unlikely)

Agreed.

I thought AMZN just couldn't get any lower when I "bottom fed" this one up. Now I'm averaged down to $16 and change a share and looking like a dope for my average down buy, which was at a price now 17%above the current valuation.

Lest I remind myself... never throw good money after bad :( Some lessons are so hard to learn. I'm long on ADPT till the cows come home, but it sucks to not have not gotten the best price.

I visited their booth at PCexpo in New York last month. Cool products... happy empoyees. They didn't seem at all concerned about the stock performance... more about selling fiber channel, PCMCIA SCSI controllers, and their newer higher bandwidth ultra-wides :)

Confident ADPT is a winner, but still trying to work out this darn timing thing...

:)
