Donald,

A very interesting observation. "Typically" with a direction and momentum shift as you described of Friday afternoon, how would a weekend with neutral news impact the direction and momentum?

TIA Jeff...

You are making sense but I don't have either machine up at the moment and cannot look at charts. I'm about ready to retire for the evening.

I became somewhat interested in TICK because Cook uses it for an indicator. But Camp put me off it a bit because of his warning.

Which, in fact, had already been proved out. Cook did think the Indicator showed a bottom was in going into Friday. So he was fooled by it, apparently.

From my end the jury is still out because I'm not certain yet I can use it for an entry point just possibly as an exit. That is to say if I saw the TICK hitting extreme levels and I was short I would most likely cover but I don't have faith in getting long.

I just have not worked with it long enough to assign it a "Primary" indicator status in my "touchy-feelly" guidelines as yet.

I'll keep watching your posts on it to try to get a handle on it.
