Let's hope that Q goes with AirTouch in Brazil

Nothing wrong with Citicorp or Televisa as part of majority group
of investors in Mexico build out. However, AirTouch was the
household name I was expecting. My concern is about future Qualcomm cooperation with AirTouch. Backing from AirTouch might boost SpinCo's
value.

What is missing from this picture?

From Qualcomm 1997 financial statement disclosure note 8 Capital Stock

"...Common Stock Warrants in November 1991, the Company issued seven-year warrants to purchase 782,000 shares of common stock at $5.50 per share to a company for the relinquishment of all its claims to participation in certain future royalties, license fees and profits. A total of 782,000 shares of common stock is reserved for issuance of these warrants. As of September 30, 1997, none of these warrants had been exercised..."

From AirTouch 1997 annual report immediately after the Chairman's Message is a summary table of its Worldwide Markets. This has a
listing of strategic investments including

"400,000 shares of QUALCOMM common stock and warrants to purchase approximately 780,000 additional shares at a strike price of $5.50..."
