Cymer short interest shows bad signs 6/98 2081746 5/98 1917041 4/98 2153696 3/98 3799401 2/98 4159581 1/98 4061600 From 1/98 to 6/98, CYMI's short interest has already reduced by 50%, but the stock price has not recovered. The reduction in short interest probably occured during the end of 4/98 run-up (high as 27 1/2). It looks like many shareholders were willing to sell their shares at a much lower prices. Or the big money knows something average investor like us don't?
