Unfortunately, it probably won't happen. It doesn't help when the company or their PR people put out press releases claiming that the stock is traded on the NASDAQ when in fact it is a BB deal. I know of one such case where the President of the company claimed she was unaware of the error in her company's release, because she didn't know that the OTCBB was not a part of the NASDAQ. This is a person that had run a public company prior to the current one. She later had the error corrected.

Check this out:

The following companies and/or their PR firms have implied that they trade on Nasdaq, when in fact they are quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board. The Stock Detective has notified Nasdaq about these companies. Nasdaq will in turn contact these companies and tell them to stop using the word Nasdaq in their press releases, web sites, etc...

Sara Hallitex Corporation OTCBB: SHAL

Go Call Inc. OTCBB: GOCA

Consolidated Capital of North America Inc. OTCBB: CDNO

The Children's Beverage Group Inc. OTCBB: TCBG

Planet Entertainment Corp. OTCBB: PNEC

Hyperion Technologies, Inc. OTCBB: HYPE

AGISS Software Corporation OTCBB: AGCR

A harmless error? Right. I think these guys know exactly what they are doing.

While we're on the subject, take a look at this:
