(Somewhat) Off Topic:

An instructor of mine told me that his stock broker could see pending orders for MSFT at certain levels, like if there were a lot of sell orders placed at 110 when MSFT was at 106. Does anyone out there know how the broker can see this info, and is it available to the home computer user through any of the data services? The broker wouldn't tell my instructor how he knew this info, but he wants to find out.

Any info is appreciated. I hope I'm stating this clearly, but feel free to ask if you need me to explain further. Thanks!
