The price in the Q Phone in your link is also outdated. My understanding is they will price the new Q in the $199-$249 range. Quite a difference from the $499-$550 cost on the original. I don't know whether carriers will subsidize at all or partially, but clearly the days are over when they were getting $7-800 from Sprint for these phones. But in terms of volume, the "Q" Phone for $199 is a very attractive piece of equipment, and the dual mode should be a huge seller when it comes out. Can't imagine they'll be able to make enough of them at that price.
